This week I worked on The materials for the Star Character. The references for this material were from the visdev shots created by the team. This material is still a work in progress as we will be adding more details like moving stars/textures, and Effects to the head. We will also be making the head higher poly so the Fresnel effect works better.
I also gave feedback to other VFX artists for their effects to better fit our cinematic
While not a part of this class's work, I got some experience into adding effects to the sequencer as part of the Tech Art assignment. Which would greatly help the team when we are putting our effects into the sequencer for the final product (Thanks Nitin!)
All materials were made in Engine, no source assets were needed to make the materials
